Usage
I find sites that are plastered in advertise here banners look rather tacky, so for new sites with little or no advertisers I suggest finding niche related affiliate programs (ClickBank) or a CPA network (NeverBlue) to fill the sponsor spots but always have one of the above advertise here banners in place.
This works great for 3 reasons:
- It uses scarcity by implying you only have one "sought-after" spot left for a sponsor.
- The chances of a visitor staying on your site forever are 0%. So as they are going to leave anyway it's better for you they leave through an affiliate link that will make you some nice profit.
- It allows you some time to see how much profit each spot can make which will benefit you greatly when trying to decide a price for your sponsor spot.
Of course, after you fill a spot with a real sponsor just remove the lowest converting affiliate/CPA link and replace that with a new advertise here button until all spots are filled.. but one, yes always leave a spot with your own affiliate/CPA link because you could be selling that spot for $80/mo but it could be making you $200/mo in affiliate commissions.

Look! 125×125 size is not main phase of banner advertising but every banners should be attractive and fabulous then peoples like it else it will be consider in normal banners.

My favorite size is the horizontal 728px as it’s easier on the eye and can flow WITH the content if placed correctly.
